It is a well known fact that gyms are bursting at the seams with new members every January. The effect that the New Year has on a lot of people is clear; the holidays are over, and it is time to get serious with a fitness and weight loss plan. The only issue with this burst of motivation is that it wanes quickly. By March, the gym is back to the regulars and the new people have stopped coming. Here are two tips to help you break off from the pack and become one of those who stick to their fitness regimen:
1. Tell friends and family that you have started a new fitness routine. It helps to know that others will see your progress and dedication to exercise.
2. You can do anything for 15 minutes. On days that you just cannot face an hour class, tell yourself that you will only go for 15 minutes. It is rare for someone to want to leave after they have gotten started and if you do want to leave, you may just be too tired that day.
